This year, chamois watching at Lac Blanc takes place at the end of the day, departing from the Lac Blanc 1200 resort, when the mountains are bathed in a soft, warm light.A moment suspended in time, ideal for observing wildlife in a peaceful atmosphere, far from the hustle and bustle.
Accompanied by Mathieu, a passionate mountain guide and expert on the massif, you will take the Lac Blanc ridge trail, where the chamois roam freely.
At this golden hour, conditions are often perfect for spotting them in their natural habitat.This hike is easy and accessible to families (ages 8 and up) (5 km round trip, 150 m elevation gain).It's the perfect opportunity to learn about chamois, being discreet and not disturbing them, while enjoying the beauty of the landscape.
During the hike, Mathieu will share his knowledge about the lifestyle, habits, and history of chamois.You can bring your binoculars and cameras to capture the moment. Be sure to wear good walking shoes and bring a water bottle.
