Further information
This stay invites you to explore the Alsace wine region’s terroirs, vine cultivation, and Grand Crus! Meet Laure Adam, representing the 14th generation of winemakers at Maison Jean-Baptiste ADAM, as she unveils how biodynamic practices influence the Grand Cru Kaefferkopf. As she says, "Without life in the soil, there can be no terroir effect!"
Inspired by ancestral practices, biodynamics is a natural farming method guided by earthly and cosmic rhythms. It aims to enhance the vitality and resilience of plants by improving natural exchanges between the soil and roots, and between the sky and leaves. The goal? To maximise the expression of the terroir in the grapes, and ultimately, in the wine.
Step by step, learn the principles of biodynamic viticulture and experience its influence on the Grand Cru Kaefferkopf through a comparative wine tasting. Afterwards, head to one of our selected restaurants, chosen for their exceptional cuisine, and savour the subtle pairing of seasonal dishes with Grand Crus from the Kaysersberg Valley. Let your taste buds be enchanted.
Choose from our three dining options. If you’ve already experienced the traditional menu, why not try something new? Enjoy a culinary adventure at Michelin Guide®-recognised restaurants (holders of a Bib Gourmand or Plate) with the "Flavours" menu, or treat yourself to a "Parenthèse étoilée" (available on request at info@kaysersberg.com or by phone at +33 3 89 78 22 78) at one of our valley’s Michelin-starred restaurants.
Make the most of your time in the region by exploring the vineyards and Alsace villages on two wheels. Electric bike rentals are also available as an option, making it even easier to enjoy the picturesque trails.
